What does 175 grams of plastic have to do with building a strong family?

Ultimate Frisbee is a sport I have played for nearly 30 years. During that time, Ultimate was a college sport, then a source of fun and fitness for me, and later a way for me to connect with my own kids. My whole family has enjoyed the Philadelphia Ultimate community’s close-knit, family vibe. A new entry in the Sundance Short Film Challenge reveals the reach that Ultimate can have, breeding the same family dynamic in distant places like Chennai, India.

I am proud to share my first article on the Good Men Project website here, co-written with my son Ian. We were both inspired by the short film, 175 grams. I am also proud to say that our article is the first father-son collaboration on Good Men Project, and that it was later picked up by Huffington Post Sports.
