What’s your superpower?
You may have noticed that you have special abilities. Admit it — you know that they’re inside you. I know this is going to sound a little like a comic book but I’m not kidding: you have superpowers. Now it is your responsibility to find out what they are and to make them useful to the world. If you are a parent, I have a specific message for you, sent from the future: your mission is to raise the kick-ass kids that the world will need.
We believe in you.
And the world needs you to save the day. Your superpowers are strengths that you don’t always use on a day-to-day basis. You may have the power of courage, or wisdom, or gratitude. Maybe it’s creativity, humility, perseverance, or curiosity.
When you start to flex your new powers, you will create an upward spiral in your life. You will find ways to extend yourself.
“You’ve got to go out on a limb sometimes because that’s where the fruit is.” ~Will Rogers
Putting on your cape and learning to fly will enhance your life. I can say that with confidence because it has done that for me.
Remember, if you are a parent, this isn’t about you. It’s about your kids. Show your kids that it’s safe to “go out on a limb.” They will trust you to “be the branch” that supports them to go kick some ass.
