I met some really impressive people when I attended the Dad 2.0 Summit in San Francisco in February. The best conversations, for me, were around fatherhood and how the whole idea of being a “dad” is changing. I connected with fathers who are doing the work and seeing results, having a huge impact on their kids’ lives. I wrote about some of those men for Good Men Project.
Two gentleman who left lasting impressions on me were Art Eddy and Ryan E. Hamilton. Through their website, Life of Dad, they stand out as leaders in the parenting community, using social media to highlight innovative and hard-working parents.
It was so much fun for me to connect with Art and Ryan again when they invited me on their podcast, The Life of Dad After Show. We had a great conversation about how parents can prepare their kids for an uncertain future, how easy it is for parents to doubt themselves, and . . . ultimate frisbee! Listen in to the three of us figure out how parents can keep their kids in line while being present and have fun.
